The Background Checking and Credential Services (BCCS) section is the operational hub of AusCheck, including :
The IB team conducts identity verification interviews for the ASIC and MSIC schemes, as well as manual reviews for all schemes administered by AusCheck, to ensure all information and documentation provided by applicants is accurate and correct before details of the applicant are lodged with the BC team. The IB team also prints and dispatches ASICs and MSICs for eligible applicants.
The BC team facilitate background checks for applicants of schemes administered by AusCheck, the team makes an assessment to determine if the offences are Security Relevant Offences (SRO) (the criteria for SROs vary for each scheme).

To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
