Business Head / VP-Industry Solutions

Job descriptionDesign and implement strategic plans for business development and client acquisition Explore and tap into emerging sectors and talent service opportunities Develop new product lines and services aligned with industry demands Drive B2B engagements with corporates, staffing agencies, and industry councils Deliver client-centric solutions tailored for skill-based hiring and apprentice deployment Ensure consistent client satisfaction and long-term partnership retention Oversee implementation and performance of WISE, RTD, Certification, and Apprenticeship programs Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to track business and program success Ensure quality, compliance, and service-level adherence across geographies Build and lead high-performing teams across sales, operations, and client servicing Set performance benchmarks, conduct reviews, and drive accountability Promote a results-driven, collaborative work environment Ensure regulatory compliance across payroll, staffing, and apprenticeship operations Implement risk mitigation strategies to manage labor law, payroll errors, and contract disputes Maintain audit-readiness and uphold certification quality standards Liaise with government bodies, SSCs, industry councils, and internal MSU teams Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic functions for integrated execution Represent MAPL at external forums to enhance visibility and partnerships
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Lead and manage business lines across staffing, payroll, WISE for industries, and recruitment
- Own full P&L responsibility including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability
- Develop scalable models supporting apprenticeship and skill-integrated programs
