Role Overview
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales within an assigned vertical and geographic territory, targeting both new and existing named accounts in the mid-market segment (companies with revenues between 150 crores and 1,000 crores).
This role requires a consultative sales approach to identify client business requirements and recommend tailored SAP S / 4HANA and RISE with SAP solutions. You will work closely with sales, presales, and delivery teams to manage the entire sales lifecycle, from demand generation to deal closure.
Key & Account Management :
- Execute prospecting efforts to maximize coverage, discover opportunities, and generate leads through direct outreach, marketing, and internal networks.
- Segment accounts to focus on high-revenue opportunities and strategically prioritize sales efforts.
Solution Positioning & Value Selling :
Present SAP Private Cloud solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.Develop commercial propositions and TCO analyses to support customer decision-making using a value-led selling approach.Advise clients on business needs, decision criteria, and ROI frameworks.Sales Strategy & Execution :
Build a competitive sales strategy to position SAP as the best-fit solution for client objectives.Influence buying behavior by building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.Drive revenue growth by successfully closing complex solution sales, including ERP, SaaS, and IaaS offerings.Collaboration & Enablement :
Partner with internal teams (sales, presales, delivery) to support opportunity development through the entire lifecycle.Collaborate with marketing and ecosystem partners to drive demand generation initiatives.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.8-10 years of proven experience in solution sales for cloud-native and ERP technologies.Strong track record in selling SaaS and IaaS solutions, preferably in the enterprise and mid-market segments.Experience selling complex technology solutions involving software, hardware, professional services, and technical services.In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies including ECC, S / 4HANA, and cloud deployment models.Understanding of Cloud service delivery models and hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience in technology consulting or presales in ERP / software solutions is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to build and nurture C-level relationships.(ref : iimjobs.com)
