Job Summary : Person is primarily responsible for executing payroll processes to ensure consistent & accurate payroll in compliance with local payroll practices, attendance & employee database management in HR portal, government regulations, statutory regulations, internal procedures in coordination with Finance Manager & HR stakeholder in a confidential manner.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Administering end-to-end payroll for Employees & Workers as per the prescribed timelines / Payroll cycles across all locations of the organization and the subsequent interrelated activities (like reporting, notifications)
2. Responsible for the processing of employee benefits and reimbursements (e.g., LTA, Medical Allowance, Overtime, Sales Commission etc)
3. Conduct detailed checks on the payroll data received and ensure that disbursements are compliant with the statutory regulations and are as per company policy; report any deviations to the Finance Manage.
4. Handle payroll related audit
5. Support in the resolution of all employee queries related to payroll & attendance in a timely manner.
6. Coordinate & implement off-cycle payroll processing & reporting; act as point of contact for unplanned payroll processing.
7. Conduct the maintenance and updation of the payroll software and perform timely modifications in the software on account of changes in statutory provisions such as professional tax, ESI, income tax etc.
