Industry Experience :
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the maritime, shipping, fuel trading, or carbon markets.
- Strong understanding of maritime decarbonization regulations, energy-saving technologies (ESDs), and alternative fuel markets.
- Experience in project management for ship retrofits and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
Sales Negotiation Skills :
Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.Strong B2B sales experience, ideally within shipowner, charterer, or fuel supplier networks.Experience in structuring carbon credit sales, emissions trading, and sustainability-linked transactions.Technical Analytical Abilities :
Knowledge of alternative marine fuels (biofuels, LNG, methanol, RFNBOs, etc.) and their impact on carbon intensity.Understanding of ESDs and their efficiency benefits, including wind-assisted propulsion, air lubrication systems, and energy-efficient propellers.Ability to analyze financial and operational data to develop cost-saving compliance solutions for clients.Skills Required
