Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Business Development with a strong background in the data and pharma domains, proven experience in cloud technologies, and a successful track record of working with US-based clients. This role will be responsible for driving new business, deepening client relationships, and leading our go-to-market strategies across key territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying and converting new opportunities in the US market, especially in the pharma and data domains.
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key US-based clients and decision-makers.
- Create and implement GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies for cloud and data engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to define revenue goals and drive client-centric strategies.
- Lead proposals, pitches, and deal negotiations with CXO-level stakeholders.
- Work closely with delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure alignment between client needs and solutions offered.
- Represent the organization in conferences, industry events, and client-facing forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or client engagement in the data engineering and / or pharma sectors.Proven experience in working with US-based clients, with a strong network and understanding of client needs and buying behavior.Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms.Experience in consultative selling, proposal building, and large account management.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify business trends and strategic opportunities.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role within a data-focused consulting or service-based organization.Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the pharma domain to travel internationally (when required) for client engagements.Willingness to travel internationally (when required) for client engagements.Why Join Us?
