Key Responsibilities
Bakery Production & Quality Control
- Assist in producing bakery items while ensuring consistency and product quality
- Follow standardized recipes and instructions accurately for all products
Equipment Handling & Safety
Operate bakery equipment under supervision and maintain it as per guidelinesHandle hot or hazardous items with care, using appropriate safety measuresInventory & Storage
Participate in daily inventory counts and report stock levelsPackage and store baked goods according to SOPs to ensure freshnessCleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all bakery and preparation areasAdhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocolsPlanning & Coordination
Support mise en place activities to ensure smooth production flowAttend daily production meetings and complete assigned tasks on timeRequirements
Education : Diploma in Bakery (mandatory)Training : Industrial training required; on-the-job bakery training preferredExperience : 0.5 to 1 year of practical bakery experienceUnderstanding of both Metric and Imperial measurement systemsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions preciselyComfortable working in hot, humid kitchen environmentsIntermediate knowledge of bakery operations and mise en place techniquesGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressurePositive attitude with a willingness to learnSkills Required
