Role Details

The Role :

St Joseph's School, Clare, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Wellbeing Officer to join our school team / community.

This is a contracted, part-time (2 days per week) position, commencing at the beginning of the 2026 school year until the end of 2026.

The position of Student Wellbeing Officer is funded through the National Student Wellbeing Program (NSWP) and provides pastoral care services and strategies that support the wellbeing of students and the broader community.

At St Joseph's School, Clare, it encompasses working in collaboration to support students through :

• Providing pastoral care
• Organising volunteer activities within the school community
• Running programs such as lunchtime activities
• Assisting with student-based or other school events that promote physical, mental, social or spiritual wellbeing.

Student Wellbeing Officers must hold a Certificate IV equivalent or higher qualification that includes competencies in :

The Student Wellbeing Officer will support and work with the Principal, Assistant Principal, APRIM and key staff to provide high impact outcomes and benefits for our students to :

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Incentives are available for working in the country, including relocation expenses and additional NIT for graduate teachers.
