We’re a growing secondary college that’s looking for a people leader to join us in 2026! Please note that this temporary leadership role is offered in addition to a full-time permanent teaching position.
Our Margaret More Centre (MMC) is a specialised space within our College for students with intellectual disability to access some of their learning.
You’ll be able to :
Use Restorative Practices to establish and maintain positive relationships with students and staff.Support staff and students through the creation of Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), differentiated learning activities and relevant professional learning opportunities.Lead a team of Disability Support Officers (DSOs) and maintain a high level of visability and support for teaching staff in all learning areas.About You :
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; the ability to engage with students, staff and families in an inclusive and positive manner.Great time management skills; the ability to balance priorities effectively.Experienced in leading people in fast-paced and dynamic environments.Experience with Foundation to Year 6 curriculum and / or experience working with students with an intellectual disability would be advantageous.About Us :
