Role Purpose
The eCommerce Channel Growth Manager UK & EU will be responsible for driving the company's online business across the UK and European markets. Operating from the Global eCommerce Excellence Centre in India, this role will serve as the end-to-end business owner for eCommerce performance in these regions-with a focus on Amazon and other key regional platforms. The scope includes strategy execution, digital marketing, commercial performance, content management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Business Ownership
Manage and grow the online business across Amazon UK, Amazon EU, and other relevant eCommerce platforms (e.g., large retailers, niche digital channels).
Own the P&L for the eCommerce channel in UK & EU; drive revenue and profitability targets.
Develop and implement market-specific online growth strategies and execution plans.
Digital Marketing & Brand Visibility
Lead initiatives to enhance product visibility and brand equity through optimized content, customer reviews, and curated brand storefronts.
Drive performance marketing campaigns across platforms (e.g., Sponsored Ads, Display, Promotions, Deals).
Coordinate with global marketing teams to ensure brand messaging and digital initiatives are consistent and effective.
Analytics & Insights
Utilize eCommerce analytics tools (e.g., Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium10) to track performance, understand shopper behavior, and benchmark against competitors.
Provide regular business reports and insights across key metrics such as traffic, conversion, profitability, and market share.
Use data to drive category expansion and portfolio improvements.
Operational Excellence
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to maintain high product availability, timely fulfillment, and compliance with platform standards.
Align with channel partners on forecasts, promotional planning, and demand-supply coordination.
Support pricing strategy, margin optimization, and customer experience excellence.
Team & Cross-functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor one team member focused on analytics and operational coordination.
Work closely with regional sales, supply chain, and marketing teams to align business goals and streamline execution.
Candidate Profile Experience
5 8 years of experience managing eCommerce channels, preferably in consumer goods or related sectors.
Proven expertise in growing business on Amazon (both brand building and paid media).
Experience with international eCommerce operations, particularly in the UK and Europe, is highly desirable.
Prior exposure to FMCG, beauty, wellness, or healthcare product categories is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Deep knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem (AMS, SEO, Promotions, Display Advertising).
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a focus on performance improvement.
Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and profitability goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to navigate cross-functional global teams and drive collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred).
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Amazon Seller / Vendor Central and analytics tools is essential.
