As a Key Account Manager with 6+ years of experience , the qualified candidate will be responsible for driving business transformation and strategic growth within 30 assigned accounts . The role focuses on achieving sales targets , strengthening customer relationships , and ensuring mutual business growth for Softcell and its customers . The ideal candidate must be collaborative, proactive, and committed to Softcell’s business objectives while engaging effectively with the broader ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Engagement & Sales Execution
- Travel to customer sites (minimum 90%) to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customer leadership, leveraging a challenger-selling approach.
- Ensure extensive account coverage across 30 dedicated accounts and drive revenue growth for PTC, Ansys, and Sigmetrix products.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Target industries include Manufacturing, ESP, Die & Mold, Aerospace, and Automotive.
Strategic Account Management & Business Development
Proactively engage in on-field sales activities to meet daily and weekly KRAs.Lead product demos, technical discussions, and proposal presentations to drive business opportunities.Understand and communicate Softcell’s value proposition in the CAD, PLM, and Simulation space.Maintain a structured pipeline and provide weekly progress reports on ongoing opportunities.Operational Excellence & Compliance
Adhere to Softcell’s ethical values and policies while maintaining business integrity.Stay energetic, proactive, and open to continuous learning.Utilize corporate productivity tools (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to enhance efficiency.Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Mechanical only (from a reputed institute).Master’s degree in engineering / business administration is an added advantage.Experience :
6 to 8 years in CAD / PLM / Simulation or Manufacturing Industry Sales.Prior experience in account management and consultative / solution-based sales is preferred.
