Senior Unix Engineer - System Administration

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor UNIX / Linux systems for performance, stability, and availability to meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Maintain system patching, updates, and security compliance.
• Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks and modules for automation in a distributed data center environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents related to UNIX systems, hardware, and OS / software.
• Ensure systems comply with business, information security, and regulatory requirements.
• Update and maintain system / process documentation, diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
• Participate in on-call rotations to promptly address production-related issues.
• Handle incident escalations objectively and collaborate with relevant teams to implement resolutions.
