Job Description :
Good Linux skills (proper hands-on) as most of the applications runs on file system.Good SQL skills.Should be able to write basic SQLs using joins, sub-queries, DMLs and DDLs.Monitoring tools knowledge and experience in Splunk, Dynatrace.L2 PROD Support experience (aware of ITSM Process and tools).Good and confident communication skills.Must to have Java, DevOps tools (CI / CD pipelines in Jenkins).Good to have Cloud knowledge and automation tools like Chef, Puppet / XLR.Key Responsibilities :
Provide Level 2 production support for Java-based applications running on Linux environmentsPerform incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution for application issuesAnalyze logs, monitor performance, and identify system or application errors using Splunk, Dynatrace, and other monitoring toolsCollaborate with development and DevOps teams for issue resolution and release deploymentsMaintain and enhance CI / CD pipelines using JenkinsPerform routine maintenance tasks and validate application stability post-deploymentWrite and execute SQL queries to analyze and troubleshoot data-related issuesFollow ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and use tools like ServiceNowEnsure system uptime, performance, and reliability within defined SLAsPrepare support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles(ref : hirist.tech)
