Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Automation QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce testing, test automation, and a deep understanding of quality assurance best practices in Agile environments.
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce applications through automated testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile platforms.
- Perform regression testing, system testing, and integration testing for Salesforce features and customizations.
- Work closely with Salesforce developers to identify bugs, debug issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines for test automation.
- Create and manage test plans, test scenarios, and test data as per project requirements.
- Contribute to sprint planning, story grooming, and daily Agile ceremonies.
- Document bugs and track them to closure using JIRA or similar tools.
Requirements :
4+ years of experience in Software QA, with minimum 2+ years in Salesforce testing.Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce.Proficiency in test automation tools : Selenium, TestNG, WebDriver, or equivalent.Hands-on experience in API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI, REST Assured.Working knowledge of CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Strong problem-solving, communication, and debugging skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Salesforce QA certification is a plus.Experience with Provar, Copado, or other Salesforce-specific testing tools is a bonus.Knowledge of SOQL, Apex test classes, and Salesforce automation testing best practices.(ref : hirist.tech)
