Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Sales Manager – IAS (Industrial & Architectural Screens) to drive significant sales growth across Western India . This pivotal role involves managing key sectors such as Starch, Sugar, Paper, Mining, and Water / ETP , through lead generation, client visits, in-depth technical discussions, and successful order closures. You will also be responsible for securing product approvals, managing tenders, and collaborating with internal teams for new product rollouts and customer engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Selection & Sizing : Select and size various products, including screen baskets, nozzles, flat panels, laterals, DSMs , etc., to meet client specifications.
- Customer & OEM Support : Provide expert support to customers and OEMs on process improvements and screening recommendations .
- Sales Cycle Management : Conduct compelling technical presentations , develop detailed proposals, and lead price negotiations to close deals.
- Project Management : Manage key projects, including contract review, risk analysis, cost estimation, and delivery planning .
- Market Intelligence : Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and industry requirements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively across functions to improve quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction .
- Work Culture : Promote a cooperative and professional work culture both within and outside the team.
- Strategic Contribution : Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvements in systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education : B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory) .Experience : 10-12 years of sales experience in screening / filtration solutions across process industries.Core Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.Technical Aptitude : Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical systems and solid / liquid separation processes .Software Proficiency : Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) .Language & Travel : Fluent in English; willingness to travel extensively and support cross-regional teams.Benefits
