About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic AVP - Compensation & Benefits (C&B) to oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all compensation and benefits programs for our rapidly growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in India.
You will be responsible for ensuring our C&B structure remains competitive, compliant, and aligned with our global talent attraction and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities :
C&B Strategy : Design, review, and roll out market-competitive compensation structures, including salary bands, variable pay, and long-term incentives, specific to the GCC's technical and functional roles.
Annual Cycles : Lead the annual compensation review, budgeting, and bonus / incentive payout cycles, ensuring fairness, equity, and alignment with performance management outcomes.
Benefits Management : Evaluate and manage all employee benefit programs (e.g., insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives), working with brokers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and high employee value.
Benchmarking & Compliance : Participate in compensation surveys, conduct competitive market analyses, and ensure strict adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements related to compensation and payroll.
HRIS Integration : Partner with HR Technology teams to optimize and automate C&B processes within the HRIS / SAP system for efficiency and accurate reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Education : Full-time MBA / PGDM in HR from a top-tier institute (IIM / XLRI / TISS, etc.)
Experience : 10-14 years of dedicated experience in Compensation & Benefits, with a proven track record in a large-scale Global Capability Center (GCC), IT Services, or Captive unit.
Skills : Expertise in job evaluation methodologies, compensation benchmarking tools, and deep knowledge of Indian labor laws pertaining to C&B.
