We are currently looking for an energetic, hi-impact and self-motivated Business Development Manager for our India / Dubai business operation. This role shall report to the Head Sales & marketing for Contract Manufacturing Business based in Mumbai-India / Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Market Development : Develop and execute new business strategies while evaluating prospects, industries, and geographies aligned with VVF’s growth priorities.
- Customer Engagement & Acquisition : Build strong relationships with brand owners, D2C players, and private labels to generate leads and convert them into long-term clients.
- Product Innovation & Launch Support : Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams to drive successful new product launches from concept to commercialization.
- Market Research & Commercial Proposals : Conduct competitor and market analysis, prepare commercial proposals, and align pricing strategies with finance to ensure profitable growth.
- Pipeline & Performance Tracking : Monitor business development pipelines, track milestones, and provide accurate MIS, forecasts, and progress reports to management.
- External Representation & Brand Building : Represent VVF at industry forums, trade shows, and events to enhance visibility, build networks, and position VVF as a trusted partner.
Key Skills
- 7–12 years of Business Development / Key Account management experience in B2B segment .
- Any Graduate. MBA degree in Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge in contract manufacturing of Personal Care & Cosmetics industry.
- Understanding of market dynamics, supply-demand trends, pricing, and global trade flows.
- Opportunity identification & pipeline building in domestic markets.
- Pricing strategy, margin management, and negotiation skills tailored to commodity and specialty product differences.
- Ability to analyze P&L impact, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Strategic planning to expand market share and develop new revenue streams.
- Market research and competitive intelligence.
- Data-driven decision making – forecasting demand, analyzing sales trends, and spotting opportunities.
- Strong financial acumen for evaluating project ROI and investment cases.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client pitches.
