Responsibilities
- Possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in relevant systems and machinery.
- Lead problem-solving efforts by identifying the root causes of technical issues and developing effective solutions.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets established company and industry standards.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety training sessions and ensure team members are well-versed in safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment maintenance, and other technical documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on team performance, project progress, and other relevant metrics.
- Understand technical issues thoroughly and provide timely, effective solutions.
- Inspect all new materials upon arrival, verify technical specifications, and conduct trials in coordination with the R&D Department.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical details, guiding the team with best possible solutions.
- Train installation teams on all technical aspects of new materials and components.
- Evaluate new systems or technologies that could replace outdated processes or equipment.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and rectify technical issues and determine root causes.
- Provide daily work updates to the R&D Department and submit monthly reports on installation team training.
- Participate directly in installation activities when required to address issues identified by reporting managers.
- Coordinate with R&D for the development of prototypes and ensure new materials meet quality expectations.
- Oversee the daily operations of technicians, engineers, and other technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Conduct performance reviews, set individual goals, and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
- Identify training needs, develop training plans, and ensure team members are equipped with the necessary technical skills.
- Provide expert technical guidance to the team, troubleshoot issues, and ensure knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and succession planning within the team.
- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as per management requirements.
- Adhere to KRA & KPI expectations and accept additional responsibilities or upgrades assigned by reporting managers.
Requirements
Software Skills : AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks / CATIA, any 3D modeling software, and MS Office.Machine Knowledge : Double Mitre Profile Cutting Machine, Drilling Machine, Milling Machine, Glass Cutting Machine, Vacuum / Membrane Press Machine, Panel Saw Machine, Sanding Machine, and Digital Printing Machine.Languages : Proficiency in English and Hindi (knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage).Skills Required
