About the Role
Were seeking a high-impact Head of Sales & Business Development to lead domestic growth story driving order bookings, collections, and strategic partnerships across our focus sectors.
Youll be the architect of our India GTM strategy, build a world-class sales team, and shape the organizations revenue engine to achieve ambitious growth goals.
Required Skills & Proven experience in core defense sales.
- Strong background in strategic sales leadership and GTM planning.
- Deep understanding of public procurement processes (GEM, RFPs, tenders).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong CRM & pipeline discipline.
- High adaptability and readiness for extensive domestic travel.
Key & Leadership
Define and execute annual Sales & GTM plans across products and service verticals.Build, coach, and scale a pan-India sales organization (Regional Sales Managers, SDRs, Coordinators).Drive quarterly and annual BookingsBillingsCollections performance with region- and sector-level ownership.Align cross-functional teams Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver unified business outcomes.Business Growth
Expand presence across Defence & Homeland Security, Hydropower & Dams, Oil & Gas / Energy, Water & Sewage, Ports & Maritime Infrastructure, and Disaster Management.Forge strategic partnerships with consultants, EPCs, and system integrators to enhance market penetration and build a healthy opportunity pipeline.Sales Operations & Governance
Institutionalize forecasting accuracy, CRM hygiene, and pipeline visibility.Standardize proposal templates, pricing frameworks, and approval workflows.Conduct weekly sales reviews and monthly leadership updates to monitor performance.Ensure adherence to incentive plans and achievement frameworks.People Leadership
Mentor and performance-manage regional teams; foster a culture of accountability and ownership.Partner with HR to drive hiring, onboarding, and capability development for sales professionals.Customer & Partner Engagement
