Business Intelligence Developer / Tableau developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Tableau Developer with 2–3 years of experience to support our BI reporting environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Tableau development and administration , along with solid skills in Linux , Python , PL / SQL , and Oracle . Experience with SAP Business Objects is a plus. You will be responsible for maintaining the Tableau environment, ensuring performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain Tableau Server environments across development, testing, and production.
• Perform Tableau dashboard / report development , enhancements, and troubleshooting.
• Handle incident tickets , problem resolution , and service requests related to Tableau and reporting services.
• Proactively monitor system health , performance metrics, and usage statistics for Tableau.
• Ensure high availability and SLA adherence through system reviews, performance tuning, and proactive maintenance.
• Automate administrative and data processing tasks using Python and Linux shell scripting .
• Support backend operations involving PL / SQL and Oracle databases .
• Maintain proper documentation of infrastructure changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting solutions and data accessibility.
• Perform Linux-based tasks such as log monitoring, file handling, script scheduling (cron jobs), and environment troubleshooting.
• Provide basic support and integration assistance for SAP Business Objects .
