About the Role :

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time, PAN India position that requires working UK shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, ETL / ELT development, and a deep understanding of the Snowflake platform. You'll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing data solutions that drive business insights and support our growing data needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Develop Data Pipelines : Architect, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and Python to ingest, transform, and load large and complex datasets from various sources.
Data Modeling & Optimization : Develop and implement robust data models, including data marts and data warehouses, to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting requirements. Optimize Snowflake queries and overall platform performance to ensure efficient data processing.
Best Practices & Governance : Enforce data governance standards, maintain data quality and integrity, and implement best practices for data management, security, and compliance within the Snowflake environment.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data analysts, and other technical teams, to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality data products.
Platform Support & Reliability : Provide operational support for the Snowflake platform, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving platform-related issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
Data Quality & Automation : Design and implement data validation routines and automated data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across all pipelines and datasets.

Required Skills & Experience :

Experience : A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field.

Snowflake : Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake is non-negotiable. This includes proficiency in Snowflake architecture, advanced SQL, Snowpipe, data sharing, and security features.

Programming : Must be highly proficient in Python for building data pipelines, automation scripts, and custom data processing solutions.

SQL : Expert-level knowledge of SQL for complex data manipulation, query optimization, and stored procedure development.

CI / CD : Experience with CI / CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for automated deployment and testing of data solutions.

Graph Database : Practical experience or a solid understanding of Graph Databases is a plus.

Soft Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with diverse teams and stakeholders. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
