Core Responsibilities :
1. Requirements Elicitation & Definition :
- Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
- Perform gap analysis to identify process improvements and ensure new features align perfectly with strategic business objectives.
- Translate complex business problems into detailed, actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria, process flows (e.g., BPMN), and use cases.
2. Product & Agile Lifecycle Support :
Partner with Product Managers to define and refine the product roadmap, contributing to strategic planning and backlog prioritization.Serve as the key liaison and translator between the product team, engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and drive alignment.Champion the voice of the user and the business throughout the development lifecycle, actively participating in all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).3. Data-Driven Insights & Strategy :
Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and inform product strategy.Analyze quantitative (product metrics, SQL queries) and qualitative (customer feedback) data to uncover pain points, identify optimization opportunities, and validate hypotheses.Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate insights on product performance to the product team and leadership.4. Solution Validation & Quality Assurance :
Partner with QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage is based on business requirements.Own and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating that the final solution functions as designed and fully meets all business needs and user expectations.Required :
2+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an Agile / Scrum software development or product management environment.Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies and demonstrated expertise in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar.Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (e.g., advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).A self-starter attitude with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Preferred (Bonus Points) :
Experience with user research methodologies, persona development, and customer journey mapping.Knowledge of the Tyre / Automobile / Manufacturing domain.(ref : hirist.tech)
