Job Description
THE ROLE
As Facility Manager , you’ll manage the day-to-day upkeep, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure planning across All our Restaurants and Bombay Sweet Shop locations across Mumbai. You’ll be part project manager, part problem-solver, and part cost-controller - ensuring that our spaces are always safe, functional, compliant, and aligned with the Hunger Inc. quality standards. If you love making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, from the lights overhead to the equipment in the kitchen, this role is for you.
You’ll work closely with both Directors of Operations – Restaurants and Bombay Sweet Shop and report into them directly. This is a full-time, on-ground role based out of Mumbai , with travel to outlets as required.

WHO YOU ARE
You’ve spent 5–8 years managing facilities, maintenance, or operations, preferably in food and beverage, hospitality, or retail.
You understand building systems (like HVAC, plumbing, lighting) and know how to keep them running without surprises.
You’re solution-oriented , take pride in being on-ground, and have a high sense of urgency.
You have experience in managing vendors , negotiating contracts, and keeping costs in check.
You understand statutory and safety compliance and will ensure all our outlets meet those requirements.
You’re detail-driven ensuring every location gets its attention so that our operations are always running smoothly.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Maintain & monitor all facilities including equipment, lighting, HVAC systems, and infrastructure at all Hunger Inc. outlets.
Create and manage preventive maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
Be the first responder for any facility-related issue ensuring solutions at the earliest and minimal disruption.
Work with vendors and contractors for deep cleaning, pest control, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and technical services.
Prepare and manage facility budgets and capital expenditures .
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment regulations through regular audits and documentation.
Coordinate closely with brand and operations teams for renovation projects, outlet openings, or upgrades .
Send out regular maintenance reports and budget updates to stakeholders.
