Define the UX north star for Tata Vayu Cloud product across AI Studio, PaaS, and IaaS service to make powerful cloud primitives intuitive, safe, and fast to value, benchmarking against hyperscaler console patterns while differentiating with simplicity and guidance.

Own the end-to-end multi-surface experience across landing, service catalog, console, CLI, APIs / SDKs, IaC templates, documentation, marketplace, and a transparent, real-time cost console with governance guardrails.

Architect interoperability patterns that let users move seamlessly across applications, PaaS and IaaS—provision, connect, secure, observe, and optimize—without context loss or cognitive overload.

Translate complex IAM, org hierarchies, policy-as-code, and compliance into clear, guardrailed workflows that prioritize error prevention, recognition over recall, and aesthetic minimalism for expert efficiency.

Build the Tata Vayu Design System (v1) : a token-driven, accessible component library with patterns for web, terminal / CLI, and docs, ensuring consistency and velocity across in-house and partner teams.

Establish research, telemetry, and experimentation : task success, time to first deploy, error rates, activation and retention by persona, and funnel analytics across onboarding and top workflows.

Embed accessibility and inclusive design by default, meeting WCAG 2.2 AA for core experiences, with regular audits, automation gates, and manual testing practices.

Apply assistive AI purposefully : guided setup, policy and IaC generation, natural-language-to-action, explainable recommendations, and cost / security nudges with clear user control and transparency.

Partner tightly with Product, Engineering, Security, Docs / DevRel, and Cloud Ops to align priorities to measurable customer outcomes and ensure quality, on-time delivery.

Operate hands-on as the founding designer while coordinating with Cyber Security designers and third-party UX partners; set briefs, review deliverables, and scale mechanisms for quality,

Key Qualification & Experience

14+ years in product design for complex B2B / enterprise platforms, with substantial work in cloud, SaaS or Paas, DevTools, data / AI, or similarly technical domains.

Portfolio proving simplification of complex systems : interoperability across services, IAM / policy, observability, cost management, and multi-surface ecosystems (console, CLI, APIs / SDKs, docs).

Mastery of interaction design, information architecture, systems thinking, and visual craft aligned to modern, elegant patterns for complex applications.

Track record building and scaling a token-driven design system and DesignOps foundations with accessibility built in from the start.

Fluency in research, usability testing, product analytics, and experimentation to drive measurable improvements in activation, task success, and retention.

Excellent communication and executive alignment skills; experience influencing roadmaps and investment decisions across regions and functions.

Nice to have : cloud fundamentals (VPC / networking, compute / storage, containers / serverless), security / compliance (RBAC, least privilege, audit, policy-as-code), FinOps / cost UX, and AI-assisted UX
