About the Role

FloTorch is seeking an experienced

Technical Writer

with a strong background in documenting complex

AI / ML products, platforms, and solutions . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working closely with engineering, product management, and data science teams to create clear, concise, and user-focused documentation.

Job Location : Pune / Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality technical content, including

user guides, API documentation, SDK references, release notes, tutorials, and whitepapers

for AI / ML products.

Translate complex

AI / ML workflows, algorithms, and data engineering concepts

into simple, user-friendly documentation for developers, data scientists, and enterprise customers.

Collaborate with

product managers, AI / ML engineers, Data Scientists and Developers

to gather insights and ensure technical accuracy.

Maintain a consistent content style guide and documentation standards across all deliverables.

Participate in

UX design reviews, product demos, and sprint planning

to proactively identify documentation needs.

Continuously update documentation in line with product releases and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–12 years

of professional experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment.

Proven experience documenting

AI / ML platforms, data pipelines, APIs, or cloud-based solutions .

Strong ability to explain

complex AI / ML concepts (e.g., model training, deployment, MLOps, inference, data processing)

to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proficiency with documentation tools such as

Markdown, AsciiDoc, Confluence, Git, DITA / XML, or similar frameworks .

Hands-on experience with

API documentation tools

(e.g., Swagger / OpenAPI, Postman).

Familiarity with programming / data technologies like

Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or ML frameworks

(reading / understanding code is a plus).

Excellent

writing, editing, and communication skills

with attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in an

Agile / Scrum environment

with distributed teams.

Nice-to-Have

Exposure to

AI / ML product lifecycles

(model experimentation, deployment, monitoring).

Experience with

knowledge management systems, chatbots, or AI-driven documentation assistants .

Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools.

Contribution to

open-source projects or developer communities .
