Role Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for our General Staffing vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the Engineering / Manufacturing sectors and a proven ability to engage with HR leaders and top-level decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic client relationships.
  • Engage with HR departments and senior management to understand staffing needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of major clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Support hiring teams in fulfilling client requirements efficiently and effectively.
  • Achieve Gross Profit (GP) targets through proactive sales and client engagement.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Conduct strategic workforce planning to increase closure volumes.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and adherence to client timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business goals with client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in Staffing & Recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of the Engineering / Manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in strategic planning and consultative selling.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in General Staffing or Contract Staffing.
  • Exposure to large-scale hiring projects and volume recruitment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
