Softobiz is seeking a Presales Solution Consultant who can strategically bridge business requirements with technical capabilities to drive winning solutions during the sales cycle. This individual will collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and Architecture teams to conceptualize, design, and position scalable, cost-effective, and competitive solutions for clients across the US, Australia, and other international markets.
The role demands a professional who is equally adept in technical depth and business acumen- someone who can translate client challenges into well-structured solution architectures, lead discovery sessions, and deliver compelling proposals that accelerate deal closures.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Engagement & Discovery :
- Lead technical discovery and consultative discussions with client stakeholders to understand business drivers, challenges, and strategic goals.
- Conduct workshops, solution mapping sessions, and technical deep-dives to define solution scope, architecture, and value proposition.
- Identify opportunities for modernization, cost optimization, and process automation using modern technologies and cloud-native designs.
Solutioning & Proposal Development :
Design end-to-end solutions aligned with client objectives, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.Partner with the Architecture and Delivery teams to validate design assumptions, technology feasibility, and implementation readiness.Own and drive RFP / RFI responses, technical proposals, solution decks, and pricing narratives with precision and clarity.Develop effort estimations, solution diagrams, and technical documentation supporting both business and technical stakeholders.Build and maintain a library of reusable artifacts including solution templates, standard architectures, and demo accelerators.Collaboration & Enablement :
Work closely with Sales teams to position Softobiz offerings effectively during early deal stages.Collaborate with Pricing, CoE, and Delivery functions to align solution designs with commercial models and execution frameworks.Provide technical enablement to sales personnel, helping them articulate the technical value and differentiation of proposed solutions.Participate in GTM initiatives, product demonstrations, webinars, and customer workshops.Support internal knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior presales consultants.Solution Governance & Quality :
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all presales deliverables.Drive the continuous improvement of presales processes, solution templates, and technical documentation.Maintain seamless handover documentation for the delivery teams to ensure a smooth project kickoff and execution.Required Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in IT Services Presales, Solution Consulting, or Technical Architecture roles.Proven experience in solutioning for US / ANZ mid-market or enterprise clients, preferably across industries such as Healthcare, Retail, Logistics, or SaaS.Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, including but not limited to :Web and Application Development :
.NET, Node.js, React, AngularCloud Platforms :
Azure, AWS (IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless models)DevOps & CI / CD :
GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOpsMicroservices & APIs :
