Department :  Direct Marketing (DM) - Sales

Employment Type :  Full-Time, On-site

Grade :  Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager / Senior Branch Manager (commensurate with experience)

Salary : 7L to 10.5L Per Annum

Role Description

The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall management and success of the sales within the Direct Marketing Channel. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, team leadership, business development, and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a strong ability to manage a team of sales professionals and drive business growth in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities

Business & Sales Management :

Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve branch business and productivity targets.

Drive new customer acquisition through market segmentation and customer profiling.

Ensure the branch meets sales targets and maintains a healthy product mix.

Manage the existing customer portfolio and ensure high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.

Keep up-to-date with product offerings and competitor activities to provide professional and relevant advice to customers.

Team Leadership & Development :

Recruit, train, coach, and manage a high-performing team of Sales / Relationship Managers.

Motivate the team and drive business through effective leadership and performance monitoring.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and skill enhancement programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education :  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience :

Minimum 7+ years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on sales and management.

Must have prior team handling experience in a Direct Channel.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Skills & Competencies :

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and make strategic decisions.

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.

Knowledge of life insurance products, industry dynamics, and regulatory environment is essential
