We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant with 6-9 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite, responsible for identifying, designing, and delivering complex solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of core ITOM applications, including Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration. You will be instrumental in translating business requirements into robust technical architectures and ensuring the successful implementation of these solutions on the Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement finalized ServiceNow ITOM solutions, focusing on key applications such as Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration.
- Lead customer engagements by conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and requirements discussions to effectively implement and deploy ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom Patterns, Probes, and Sensors for both Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Configure CMDB classes for assets and configurations, ensuring accurate relationships and dependencies are maintained. You will also define and manage identification and classification rules for the CMDB.
- Work with external data sources and implement Import Sets and Transform Maps for seamless data ingestion and mapping into the ServiceNow platform.
- Code and script ITOM solutions using technologies like JSON and other relevant languages, with a focus on event and alert rules.
- Deliver technical workshops on the ITOM suite, including Event Management, CMDB, Orchestration, Service Mapping, and Cloud Skills & Qualifications :
- 6-9 years of professional experience in an IT role, with a strong focus on ServiceNow.
- Proven, hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM implementations.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB architecture.
- Expertise in developing with Patterns, Probes, and Sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Proficiency in scripting and coding ITOM solutions, particularly with JSON.
- Strong understanding of Import Sets and Transform Maps.
- A solid grasp of event and alert rules within the Skills :
- Certification in ServiceNow ITOM.
- Experience with Cloud Management on the ServiceNow platform.
- A strong understanding of business and technical requirements, with the ability to articulate them into a solution.
- Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM or Service Portal.
