Job Summary :
We are seeking a ServiceNow Integration Specialist - Technical Consultant with 5-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, from its core technology and development practices to its various modules and integration capabilities. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing complex integrations with third-party systems. You will be a key technical advisor, providing hands-on assistance, creating best practices, and ensuring that all solutions meet rigorous quality, budget, and timeline standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, implement, and test custom modules and integrations on the ServiceNow platform in line with agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive integration facilities for all required customer integrations on ServiceNow implementation projects, leveraging expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture and web services (SOAP, REST, WSDL).
- Perform configuration, application integration, custom programming, and other technical activities to support system integration projects.
- Advise, mentor, and provide hands-on technical assistance to team members regarding solution design and execution, and create reusable assets and best practices for the deployment team.
- Identify and design integration requirements for key modules, including ServiceNow MID Server setup, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Discovery integration with the CMDB.
- Support all phases of the project lifecycle, from user story creation and assessment to system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live, and early-life support periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5-8 years of professional experience with the ServiceNow platform.Deep knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL).Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and scripting, including JavaScript, AJAX, Jelly, and PERL.Expertise in hand-coding DHTML / XHTML and CSS.Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL) in an enterprise software context.Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools such as SalesForce, MuleSoft, SnapLogic, or Perspectium.Preferred Skills :
A strong background in Java and JavaScript for scripting and development.Experience with Event Management, Service Mapping, and CMDB integrations.ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer).The ability to provide technical documentation on modules and products, adhering to company standards.Experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to drive business requirements and manage customer stakeholders, including C-level executives.(ref : hirist.tech)
