The Admission Counsellor will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admission process. This position involves providing expert advice on various educational programs, assisting with applications, and supporting students in making informed decisions about their education.
Responsibilities
- Conducting one-on-one counselling sessions with prospective students and their families to guide them through the admission process.
- Providing detailed information about various courses, programs, and institutions.
- Assessing students' academic backgrounds and career aspirations to recommend suitable options.
- Assisting students in preparing and submitting applications, including writing personal statements and gathering necessary documents.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of admission trends, policies, and procedures of various universities.
- Collaborating with educational institutions and organizations to promote programs and services.
- Organizing and participating in recruitment events, workshops, and seminars to attract potential candidates.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.2-7 years of experience in educational counselling or admissions process.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents.Ability to understand and analyze students' needs and provide tailored advice.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and admission management software.Knowledge of various educational programs and institutions in India and abroad.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Skills Required
