About the Role
The Head of HR & Administration will be responsible for establishing and implementing all HR policies, processes, and infrastructure. Additionally, this leader will oversee and manage the administration function, ensuring smooth business operations.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Policy Development
Develop and implement HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance frameworks aligned with local regulations.Build a performance-driven and collaborative culture in line with the company's vision and values.Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create a balanced workforce.Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Develop a recruitment strategy to attract top talent across retail, e-commerce, and corporate functions.Set up a seamless onboarding process to integrate new hires efficiently.Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and ensure the right talent pipeline.HR Operations & HR Tech Implementation
Identify and implement new-age HR SaaS tools for recruitment, payroll, performance management, and employee engagement.Set up HR processes from scratch, ensuring efficient handling of employee records, benefits administration, and compliance.Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with labor laws and industry standards.Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Design and execute initiatives that foster employee engagement, well-being, and retention.Develop recognition programs to appreciate high performers and reinforce a positive workplace culture.Conduct pulse surveys and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the work environment.Performance Management & Learning & Development
Establish a structured performance management system to drive accountability and growth.Implement learning & development programs to upskill employees and support career growth.Collaborate with global HR teams to align on best practices and leadership development initiatives.Administration & Office Operations
Oversee and manage all administrative functions, including facilities management, vendor management, and workplace safety.Ensure smooth office operations, procurement of office supplies, and maintenance of workplace infrastructure.Establish and implement policies for travel, reimbursements, and office security.Required Skills
Strategic Thinker & Executor - Ability to develop and implement HR and admin strategies while being hands-on in execution.HR Tech-Savvy - Experience in selecting and managing HR SaaS tools (e.g., Darwinbox, Keka, BambooHR, etc.).Culture Builder - Passionate about creating a Great Place to Work with a high energy, collaborative environment.Retail & Consumer Industry Expertise - Prior experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, or FMCG industries preferred.Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management - Ability to work with global leadership and cross-functional teams.Operational Excellence - Strong experience in managing administrative functions and ensuring efficient workplace operations.
