Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to oversee the human resource function across campuses of Witty International at Pan India level. This role will be responsible for driving people strategy, talent management, compliance, and employee engagement across multiple school campuses under the group. As the HR Head for the brand, you will play a key role in aligning HR practices with the group's values while supporting individual brand needs and local context.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Drive the overall HR strategy in alignment with organizational and business goals.Collaborate with partners, regional leaders, and school heads to define and implement HR priorities.Lead annual HR processes including talent management, performance reviews, compensation planning, L&D, and succession planning.Design and deliver annual HR plans that support workforce development, engagement, and retention.Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Propose and implement talent acquisition strategies, ensuring timely and cost-effective hiring of academic and non-academic roles.Oversee recruitment and selection processes in collaboration with regional / school HR teams.Lead manpower budgeting and long-term workforce planning to support business growth.Employee Relations & Compliance
Manage employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary matters in alignment with company values and legal standards.Ensure compliance with local labor laws, educational board regulations, and statutory requirements.Build a positive organizational culture through leadership support and culture-building initiatives.Operational Excellence & Systems
Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, payroll, and HRBP systems at a regional and global level.Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and reporting through robust HR systems and analytics.Collaborate with Finance on HR metrics, budget management, and cost control.Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Provide HR counsel to corporate leadership, acting as a trusted advisor.Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships across geographies and functions.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team, ensuring role clarity, training, and career growth.Global HR Alignment
Work closely with global HR leadership to ensure alignment and successful rollout of group-wide initiatives and policies.Drive consistency in HR practices across geographies while adapting to local needs where necessaryJob Requirements
12+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with at least 5-7 years in a strategic leadership role.Strong background in multi-site or multi-brand HR management.Experience in the education sector or service-driven industries (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, retail, Insurance) is a strong advantage.Ability to navigate a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in talent planning, Talent acquisition and policy implementation,Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.High integrity, emotional intelligence, and a people-first mindset.
