Role & responsibilities
Sales and Performance Management :
- Responsible for achieving department targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Analyzing sales figures, interpreting information, and forecasting future sales volumes.
- Maximizing profits through effective sales strategies and margin management.
- Executing plans to maximize sales as set by the immediate superior.
- Ensuring attractive merchandise display, layout, and stock replenishment.
- Overseeing inventory processes and managing damaged and defective goods.
Customer Service and Satisfaction :
Creating a seamless customer service orientation among store employees.Understanding customer needs and providing optimal solutions.Handling customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution.Implementing marketing plans, including catalogues, flyers, and e-commerce.Team Management and Development :
Facilitating the professional and personal development of subordinates.Cultivating and promoting the company's culture through teamwork and collaboration.Managing and motivating the store team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.Training staff on required products.Merchandising and Operations :
Assisting in completing price changes within the department.Bringing up sales at registers and / or bagging merchandise.Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.Processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stockBusiness Operations and Shrinkage Management :
Strategizing to reduce shrinkages in the department.Managing EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) systems and SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) creation.Monitoring trade-in products, inventory management, and logistics control.Overseeing marketing plans and driving sales promotion initiatives and eventsSkills Required
