Roles & Responsibilities
The General Manager – Operations & P&L is responsible for the overall profitability, operational excellence, and strategic growth of Ridhira Retreat. The role ensures seamless guest experiences while driving revenue, optimizing costs, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial & P&L Management
Full ownership of the resort’s Profit & Loss performance.
Prepare and implement annual budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
Monitor expenses, payroll, and vendor contracts to maximize profitability.
Generate and present periodic financial and performance reports to management.
2. Operations Management
Direct all resort operations including front office, food & beverage, housekeeping, spa, events, and guest services.
Maintain high operational standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
Implement cost-effective processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
3. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and staff to achieve business goals.
Oversee training programs to maintain service excellence and employee engagement.
Enforce HR policies, discipline, and performance management.
4. Sales & Marketing Support
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to increase occupancy, events, and retreat packages.
Build partnerships with corporates, travel agencies, and event planners.
Contribute to branding initiatives and guest loyalty programs.
5. Guest Experience
Ensure a world-class guest experience and resolve issues promptly.
Innovate guest engagement activities to enhance reputation.
Monitor online reviews and implement continuous improvements.
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to local laws, licenses, and hospitality regulations.
Oversee safety, security, hygiene, and sustainability initiatives.
