Position : Software Engineering Lead - Full Stack ( Java / ReactJS / Spring Boot / Python Microservices ). This is a full-time position reporting to the CTO.

Education : B. Tech ( From an IIT / NIT or any other Tier 1 institute )

Experience : 8-12 years. Should be hands-on and ready for coding.

Location : Gurgaon ( 50% mix of Work From Home and Work From Office )

Compensation : Competitive as per market and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience

Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :

Role Overview :

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Software Engineering Lead to join their team and drive the continuous enhancement of their unique product - a patented cloud-based platform that provides Early Warning and Predictive Analytic capabilities to financial institutions. The ideal candidate will seamlessly play a dual role of individual contributor ( as a coder ) as well as team mentor and manager, balancing delivery, people growth, and technical depth. The candidate will lead a team of engineers working across Java ( Spring Boot ), React, and Python microservices.

This role requires strong expertise in Product development practices, deep hands-on experience with Java, React and Python, and a thorough understanding of IT security and high volume computing architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead engineering delivery for product features and releases.
• Manage and mentor the software engineering team (career discussions, 1 : 1s, hiring, onboarding).
• Contribute directly to codebase (~40%-50% time) on critical features and complex integrations.
• Drive code quality via reviews, architecture guidance, security guidance and knowledge-sharing.
• Ensure delivery predictability by coordinating with QA, Platform Engineering, and Data / ETL team.
• Balance SaaS and Managed SaaS deployment demands, working with DevOps / Platform team.
• Foster a strong engineering culture of ownership, learning, and collaboration.
