Position Overview :
The Sales Head will lead the business vertical focused on sourcing, structuring, and distributing Pre-IPO and unlisted equity opportunities to high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs),and family offices. The incumbent will drive strategic partnerships, oversee sales operations, and build a strong distribution network to position Equentis as a leading player in the investment space.
Broader Role / Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy :
1-Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the unlisted equity segment.
2-Identify high-growth,stock opportunities and establish relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers.
3-Define revenue targets and lead the sales team to achieve aggressive growth metrics.
4-Nurture high-growth, stock opportunities and establish relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers
Sales & Distribution :
1- Build and manage a high-performing sales team dedicated to stocks and private market products.
2-Create and manage a distribution network across wealth managers, IFAs, and institutional channels.
3-Drive client acquisition and retention through consultative selling and relationship management.
Client Advisory & Relationship Management :
1-Engage with HNI and UHNI clients to present stock opportunities aligned with their investment goals.
2-Provide end-to-end advisory support including due diligence, valuation insights, exit timelines, and liquidity options.
3-Ensure seamless client experience and post-investment support.
Product Development & Research Collaboration :
1-Collaborate closely with the research and investment teams to identify and evaluate stock opportunities, while maintaining seamless coordination with senior leadership through regular reporting of sales trackers, updates, and key insights
2-Contribute to structuring investment products and marketing collaterals for investor communication.
3-Stay abreast of market developments, valuation trends, and SEBI regulations governing unlisted and private equity markets.
Compliance & Governance :
1-Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards.
2-Maintain transparency in communication and documentation with clients and partners.
Qualifications & Experience :
1-Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred).
2-10–15 years of experience in private wealth, investment banking, or private equity sales.
3-Strong network of HNIs, UHNIs, and family offices.
4-Demonstrated success in deal origination and execution in private market investments.
5-Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
