Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Position Summary :
We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing marketing automation solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of core Marketing Cloud tools (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.), strong scripting skills (AMPscript, SSJS), and a passion for crafting personalized and impactful customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Marketing Automation Development :
Design and implement personalized customer journeys using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
Create responsive and dynamic emails, templates, and landing pages using HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS.Data Management & Segmentation :Create and manage Data Extensions, audience segments, and perform data cleansing and manipulation.
Write complex SQL queries for audience segmentation and reporting.API Integration & Customization :Develop and maintain REST / SOAP API integrations with Salesforce CRM and external platforms to streamline marketing workflows.
Email Marketing & Campaign Execution :Deploy and monitor email campaigns using Email Studio, ensuring adherence to best practices for deliverability and performance.
Perform A / B testing, monitor metrics, and optimize campaign performance.Platform Administration :Perform Salesforce Admin tasks, including managing user access, configuration, and platform settings.
Troubleshooting & Optimization :Debug and resolve issues related to automation, personalization, or rendering.
Recommend and implement performance enhancements based on analytics and customer behavior.Continuous Improvement :Stay current with Marketing Cloud updates, features, and digital marketing trends.
Contribute to process improvement and innovation in marketing operations.Required Skills & Experience :
3+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (development & implementation).Strong proficiency with :AMPscript – for content personalization
SQL – for data segmentation and manipulationSSJS / JavaScript – for scripting and automationHTML / CSS – for responsive design in email / landing pagesExpertise in Marketing Cloud modules :Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Data Extensions
Hands-on experience with REST / SOAP APIs for integrationsStrong understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and marketing best practicesSolid communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills7+ years overall IT experience, with 5+ years in software developmentPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or related fieldExperience with broader Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)Exposure to additional languages : Python, ApexKnowledge of database management and data strategyFamiliarity with marketing analytics tools beyond SFMCStrong project management and stakeholder communication skillsStrategic mindset with experience planning customer journeys and marketing strategiesSalesforce Certifications (Preferred) :
