Job description

Job Summary -

This role involves collaborating with various teams to gather project details estimate costs accurately ensure bid compliance and craft persuasive proposals.

Effective communication project management and industry knowledge are key to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor NITs (Notice Inviting Tenders) and update the HOD.

Coordinate site visit reports by following up with the team.

Collaborate with different departments to gather bid-related information.

Aid the DM Commercial in creating cost sheets.

Ensure timely completion of bid documents.

Track bids post-submission and facilitate follow-up.

Offer insights for bids based on market competitor and customer intelligence.

Identify potential customers and business opportunities.

Negotiate project deadline extensions with clients.

Engage in direct interactions to advance projects.

Assist in evaluating bids and deciding on business pursuits.

Share pre-bid meeting summaries with DGM / GM - GIS / AIS.

Conduct customer satisfaction surveys during and after project phases.

Qualifications & Skills :

A bachelors degree in a relevant field (business engineering etc.). A masters degree or professional certifications related to bidding and project management could be advantageous.

Strong project management skills to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.

Analytical skills to assess project risks and financial implications accurately.

Attention to detail to ensure bid compliance and quality.

Negotiation skills to engage with clients and partners effectively.

Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Experience in the specific industry and understanding of its dynamics.
