Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Business Head to lead the wristwatches vertical, driving strategy, growth, and profitability. This role demands a deep understanding of the watch industry, strong marketing acumen, proven P&L management skills, and the ability to thrive in an agile, start-up-like environment within an established brand.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Strategy & Development :
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the wristwatches category.
- Identify market opportunities, target segments, and positioning strategies.
- Define product assortment, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- Product & Marketing :
- Lead product development in collaboration with design, sourcing, and manufacturing partners.
- Ensure product quality, brand consistency, and competitive differentiation.
- Create impactful marketing and brand-building campaigns across online and offline channels.
- P&L Ownership :
- Take full accountability for revenue, margins, and profitability.
- Optimize inventory, supply chain, and pricing strategies to maximize returns.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership :
- Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team across product, marketing, and sales.
- Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to align business goals.
- Innovation & Adaptability :
- Operate effectively in ambiguous environments with a test-and-learn mindset.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
Skills & Qualifications :
12+ years of experience in business / category / brand leadership roles, preferably in watches, fashion accessories, or consumer lifestyle products.Strong understanding of watch design, craftsmanship, and consumer trends.Proven expertise in brand positioning, marketing strategy, and retail / e-commerce growth.Hands-on P&L management experience with large budgets and scaling businesses.Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability to fast-changing environments.MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Business Strategy, or related field preferred.Skills Required
