Sr. Manager / Plant Head – ( B2B Sales – Rubber Components in Automotive Industry)

Location : Nagpur

Salary : ₹27–30 LPA .

Company Overview :

We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of motion control parts and precision-engineered rubber components serving a wide spectrum of industries including automotive, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and other special-purpose applications. With a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our footprint and looking for an experienced Business Development professional to drive B2B sales and strategic growth.

Position Summary :

The Sr. Manager / Plant Head is responsible for leading the operations of our rubber manufacturing facility, focusing on efficient production, high quality standards, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves managing a team, driving process improvements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee day-to-day plant operations ensuring production targets are met for company's rubber products.
  • Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures aligning with the quality systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety norms and regulatory compliance at the plant.
  • Lead and develop a competent team of production staff, engineers, and supervisors.
  • Aggressively drive improvements in manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory effectively to ensure to mee the business plan targets.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of plant and machinery for optimal performance.
  • Manage operational costs focusing on profitability of each product and other consumables and make efficient cost management system.
  • Ensure the customer delivery & quality rating as per agreed standards.
  • Ensure to prepare the monthly MIS reports and involving improvement in productivity and cost improvements.
  • Drive initiatives for process innovation and continuous improvement aligning with company goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Polymer / Chemical )
  • 20 years of experience in Rubber components and with good exposure to automotive / Industrial / construction applications industry out of which at least 5 years in Sr. Manager / Plant Head position.
  • Excellent knowledge on rubber processing technologies / problem solving techniques.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • International customer facing experience.
  • Poka yoke and process improvement skills.
