Role Overview :
The Branch Manager – Home Loans will be responsible for driving branch-level business targets, managing the sales team, building strong relationships with channel partners, and ensuring smooth operations of the home loan vertical. The role demands strong business development skills, customer service orientation, and leadership capabilities to manage branch performance effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development & Sales
- Drive home loan sales to achieve monthly / quarterly branch targets.
- Build and maintain a network of DSAs, connectors, builders, and real estate agents for lead generation.
- Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to increase market penetration.
- Monitor and track lead conversions, ensuring healthy sourcing of business.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage the branch sales team (RMs, Sales Executives, Credit / Operations staff).Motivate and guide the team to achieve individual and branch targets.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Customer Relationship Management
Ensure excellent customer service and smooth onboarding of home loan customers.Resolve customer queries, complaints, and escalations promptly.Maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat / referral business.Branch Operations & Compliance
Oversee credit assessment, documentation, and disbursement processes in coordination with credit / operations team.Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.Monitor portfolio quality and control delinquency levels at the branch.Reporting & MIS
Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly branch performance reports to senior management.Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence inputs.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of home loans / mortgage products .Excellent understanding of DSA / DST model, builder tie-ups, and retail distribution .Strong leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.Qualifications & Experience :
Graduate / MBA (preferred).5–10 years of experience in Home Loans / Mortgage sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership / branch manager role.Proven track record of achieving business targets and managing sales teams.Compensation :
