The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for spearheading new client acquisition and driving significant business growth in the Southern India, especially Bangalore region. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused solely on identifying, targeting, and closing new B2B accounts (Industrial, Corporate or Enterprise). A key responsibility will also be to ensure timely payment collection from these newly acquired clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- New Business Development : Aggressively identify and target potential B2B clients across various sectors in southern India, especially Bangalore.
- Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire high-value clients.
- Client Acquisition : Drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
- Revenue Growth : Meet and exceed ambitious sales targets for new client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Payment Collection : Actively follow up and ensure timely and complete payment collection from all acquired clients.
- Market Intelligence : Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategy.
- Reporting : Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular, accurate reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.
Required Skills & Experience :
Total 8 - 12 years of B2B Sales experience. Industrial / Corporate / Enterprise Sales experience.Minimum of 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in Bangalore.A strong track record of new client acquisition is essential. Experience in key account management (KAM) is not required.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and achieve targets.Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the sales process.The ideal candidate must be an immediate joiner.(ref : iimjobs.com)
