Job description

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for spearheading new client acquisition and driving significant business growth in the Southern India, especially Bangalore region. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused solely on identifying, targeting, and closing new B2B accounts (Industrial, Corporate or Enterprise). A key responsibility will also be to ensure timely payment collection from these newly acquired clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • New Business Development : Aggressively identify and target potential B2B clients across various sectors in southern India, especially Bangalore.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire high-value clients.
  • Client Acquisition : Drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Revenue Growth : Meet and exceed ambitious sales targets for new client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Payment Collection : Actively follow up and ensure timely and complete payment collection from all acquired clients.
  • Market Intelligence : Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategy.
  • Reporting : Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular, accurate reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Total 8 - 12 years of B2B Sales experience. Industrial / Corporate / Enterprise Sales experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in Bangalore.
  • A strong track record of new client acquisition is essential. Experience in key account management (KAM) is not required.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and achieve targets.
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the sales process.
  • The ideal candidate must be an immediate joiner.
