Role Overview :

The Associate Professor in Applied Economics will play a key role in strengthening the teaching, research, and academic leadership of the department. The role involves developing and delivering high-quality learning experiences, leading research initiatives, mentoring junior faculty, and engaging with industry and policy forums to enhance the university’s visibility in applied economics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver advanced-level lectures and tutorials in Applied Economics and related subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and Data Analytics for Economics.
• Supervise postgraduate research, projects, and dissertations.
• Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement aligned with NEP 2020 and outcome-based learning frameworks.
• Lead and publish high-impact research in reputed indexed journals.
• Mentor Assistant Professors and Teaching Assistants in teaching pedagogy and academic research.
• Collaborate with industry, think tanks, and research institutions for academic and policy-driven projects.
• Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and accreditation processes.
• Represent the department at academic conferences, seminars, and outreach activities.
