Director, Web, Mobile Product Engineering [Urgent]

About the Role

The Director, Web & Mobile Product Engineering will lead a large team (150+) in Pune to design, build, and deliver innovative, scalable, and secure web and mobile applications. This role requires a blend of technical depth, product mindset, and strategic leadership to ensure engineering outcomes align with business goals. The Director will define and drive the product roadmap, oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, implement DevSecOps and Agile best practices, and ensure high-quality, reliable delivery. A key part of the role includes building and nurturing teams, collaborating with senior leadership, and shaping digital transformation initiatives

Must-Have Skills

Experience : Around 20 years of overall experience in software product engineering.

Leadership : Proven track record of managing large teams (50–100 employees) across engineering and testing

Technical Expertise :

• Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Microservices architecture, modern web / mobile technologies.
• DevSecOps and Agile delivery

Product Engineering : Demonstrated success in scaling digital products and platforms with measurable business impact. This person will be leading team of Engineering and Testing.

Lifecycle Management : Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps methodologies and product lifecycle practices.

Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication and ability to engage with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.

Team Building : Ability to build teams (preferred - from scratch) develop leadership pipelines, and drive organizational development. )
