About the Role

The

Director, Web & Mobile Product Engineering

will lead a large team (150+) in Pune to design, build, and deliver innovative, scalable, and secure web and mobile applications. This role requires

a blend of technical depth, product mindset, and strategic leadership

to ensure engineering outcomes align with business goals. The Director will define and drive the

product roadmap , oversee

end-to-end product lifecycle , implement

DevSecOps and Agile best practices , and ensure high-quality, reliable delivery. A key part of the role includes

building and nurturing teams , collaborating with senior leadership, and

shaping digital transformation initiatives

Must-Have Skills

Experience : Around 20 years of overall experience in software product engineering.

Leadership : Proven track record of managing

large teams (50–100 employees)

across engineering and testing

Technical Expertise :

Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Microservices architecture, modern web / mobile technologies.

DevSecOps and Agile delivery

Product Engineering : Demonstrated success in

scaling digital products and platforms

with measurable business impact. This person will be leading team of

Engineering and Testing.

Lifecycle Management : Strong knowledge of

Agile, Scrum, DevOps methodologies

and product lifecycle practices.

Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication and ability to engage with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.

Team Building : Ability to

build teams (preferred - from scratch ) develop leadership pipelines, and drive organizational development. )

Good-to-Have (Preferred)

Healthcare exposure

– understanding US healthcare platforms, HIPAA compliance, data privacy, interoperability (HL7, FHIR).

Digital / AI

– familiarity with AI in digital products.
