Job descriptionLead statutory, tax, and internal audits with accuracy and ensure timely closures. Liaise effectively with internal and external auditors and address audit queries proactively. Establish and enforce robust internal controls to prevent financial leakages and safeguard company revenue. Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns across all business locations. Manage GST reconciliations, input credit claims, and full compliance with indirect tax regulations. Support the finalization of income tax, TDS, and other regulatory obligations. Supervise regional finance teams to maintain consistent accounting standards across all zones. Implement financial control systems and process automation to enhance operational transparency. Recommend improvements to increase accuracy in reporting and reduce turnaround time. Drive compliance-oriented discipline across corporate and franchisee operations. Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA). Experience : 10–12 years in core finance roles with strong exposure to accounting, audit, GST, and compliance—preferably within logistics, supply chain, FMCG, or multi-location businesses. Hands-on experience working with regional finance teams in service-oriented companies. Proficient in ERP systems, accounting software, and automation tools. Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing both central and regional finance teams. High standards of integrity, detail-oriented, and well-versed in applicable statutory and regulatory frameworks. Financial Closing Timeliness : % of monthly / quarterly closings completed within defined deadlines (e.g., within 5 working days). Accuracy of Financial Statements : Number of post-closing adjustments or errors identified. MIS Reporting Compliance : % of MIS reports submitted within prescribed timelines. Audit Closure Timeliness : % of statutory, tax, and internal audits completed within the defined timeframe. GST Filing Timeliness : % of GST returns filed within statutory due dates. GST Input Credit Accuracy : Variance between reconciled and claimed GST input credits.

Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations across head office and regional teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure efficient and timely execution of accounts payable processes.
- Manage the timely preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Standardize reporting formats and enable real-time MIS reporting for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial reporting from franchisees and ensure adherence to established processes.
- Design and implement efficient payment processes, bank reconciliations, and cash management systems.
