Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Head to lead and expand our nutraceuticals sales division. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the nutraceutical / healthcare / functional foods industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. This role requires strategic thinking, team management, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and channels (B2B, B2C, e-commerce, distributors, and retail).
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed performance goals.
- Market Development & Expansion
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with distributors, healthcare professionals, institutional buyers, and retail partners.
- Drive business development in both established and emerging markets.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences.
- Revenue Growth & Performance
- Achieve sales targets and expand product penetration in nutraceutical and health supplement categories.
- Develop partnerships with key accounts and negotiate high-value contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and product development teams to align sales with market needs.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all sales practices adhere to industry regulations, including FSSAI, FDA, GMP, and other relevant standards.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Pharmaceuticals, Nutrition, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields.Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or health products.Strong understanding of nutraceutical sales channels (distributors, retail pharmacies, modern trade, e-commerce, institutional sales).Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills.Ability to lead and inspire a sales team with a performance-driven culture.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the nutraceutical industry.Job Type - Full Time
