This role is part of Alcon's Information Technology function, a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.The Principal I, IT Business Systems Analysis (Science / Tech / Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex business systems, working with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with strategic business goals.

Specifics Include :

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale IT systems that meet business objectives and are scalable for growth
• Act as the primary point of contact for business and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to analysts and other project team members
• Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and align with long-term business strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
• Lead high-impact IT systems analysis projects with significant business implications
• Make high-level decisions related to IT system design and architecture, ensuring systems are designed to meet future business needs
• Provide input on business strategy and align IT solutions with business goals
