Job Summary :
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) role in IT Infrastructure requires extensive expertise in managing a wide variety of information technologies, including but not limited to Active Directory (including AD restructuring), Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Azure, GCP, AWS, on-premises and virtualized servers (VMware, Hyper-V), databases (MS SQL), MDM, Automation tools, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
This position involves leading complex technical tasks, resolving escalated issues, and providing strategic direction for IT systems operations and :
Active Directory Management :
- Lead the design, deployment, maintenance, and restructuring of Active Directory.
- Ensure configurations are optimized for security and scalability.
IT Infrastructure Maintenance :
Manage and maintain servers, virtualization environments, and cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS, Office 365).Oversee both cloud and on-premises (physical and virtual) environments, including performance monitoring, system patching, and regular maintenance.Patch Management :
Develop and implement patch management strategies.Ensure timely updates and remediation of vulnerabilities.Education Qualification :
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Advanced certifications in Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS, VMware, or other relevant technologies (desirable).Knowledge and Experience :
10+ years of hands-on experience as a Lead or Subject Matter expert or equivalent role.Proven expertise in managing server platforms, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS, Office 365).Strong experience with Active Directory restructuring and advanced management, including optimizing AD configurations.Extensive experience with SCCM, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance.Expertise with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and streamlining IT workflows.Deep knowledge of Windows Server, networking, security practices, and operations management.Personal Attributes :
